How they affect animals


The birds are effected in a way that kills them easily. It covers their feathers and the birds try to clean it off and they get poisoned. Other animals die from hypothermia and the oil entering their lungs and liver.

What are they?


An oil spill is when a sailor with a ship carrying oil in a lake, ocean, or any body of water. When this happens the oil falls into the water causing an oil an spill. It can destroy an entire ship! Also it will make the body of water all gooey and whatever color the oil is.
